Passports in hand, my well-traveled Indonesian friend/principal and I made our way through the mass of bodies, through hordes of hot, sweaty hard, firm bodies.
*ahem*
We finally got to "Departure Lounge", at least that's what the sign said. Extracting ourselves from the mass of humanoids, we found ourselves in the peaceful, almost tranquil setting of this laid-back, tastefully done up cafe.
With relatively few tables, expect some form of serenity in here. Tastefully decorated and with smiling, friendly service, we had a marvelous time here. And the menu? It was pretty interesting actually. You go up to the counter where the smiley husband / wife (I think) are, and fill up the little order cards. We were pretty famished from being in the mosh pit, so we proceeded to order "9 Things" on the menu. It was ... sufficient. :)
If you wanna chill with just some illy java, put up your feet by the faux fire and grab a travel book and feel like you really are at a departure lounge. (It reminds me a little of the St. Louis / Minneapolis airport actually). It felt ... peaceful and nice? Yeah.
Loved it here. Breakfast food all day long. I will be back.
